Day 45: Still Have Time To Turn It Around

At one point plastic was a symbol of wealth. It still is for some people. Plastic implied the purchasing power and civilization in many cases. Plastic offers convenience and cost-reduction. Sometimes it is necessary.

Even though it is heartwrenching to know that every single plastic we have ever used in our life time STILL exists – mostly in the ocean, I am not going anti-plastic.

Rather, I am more of pro-sustainability.

  • Being against plastic is like resenting the past. It wouldn’t change anything. I don’t want to point a finger, because it takes two hands to clap. Supply and demand go hand in hand. It’s there and there will be for a very long time. We just have to learn to live with it and the best we can do is to avoid repeating the same mistake over and over.
  • Also focusing on what we don’t want will only attract more of it because we are sending out its vibration. We shouldn’t fuel/feed it with ANY energy, either positive or negative. If we want to attract more of what we want, we need to focus only on what we do want.

“I was once asked why I don’t participate in anti-war demonstrations. I said that I will never do that, but as soon as you have a pro-peace rally, I’ll be there.”

-Mother Teresa

I couldn’t agree with her more.

Thankful that we still have time to turn it around. We just need to work together in peace for the better future of all of us.

Happy to know that the awareness is being spread further and further. I am glad to be part of it.

Awww he feels bad about it, too!

Love dogs ❤ ❤ ❤
